Crowd Noise: M.I.A. Flipping Off The Camera Wasn’t The Most Offensive Thing About Halftime

It was loud and clear that M.I.A. did indeed flip off the camera during Madonna’s way over the top halftime performance at last night’s super bowl. But it wasn’t even close to the most offensive thing that happened during that performance, but everyone is up in arms over something that players, coaches and fans do all game long. What we’re really tripping about had more to do with the beyond obvious lip-syncing courtesy of Madonna (although she was banging), the presence of LMFAO, and more than a few of the dance moves. M.I.A.’s actions may have been in bad taste, especially in light of the fact that it’s hard to be taken serious as a rebel when you took a crazy fat, corporate paycheck to be in attendance.
