Diamond Life: Albert Pujols Goes For The Stacks, CJ Wilson Follows

Thursday, December 8, 2011

A new player in the hunt for free agent Albert Pujols came out of nowhere, to snatch the most coveted MLB player of the offseason from the market. That would be the Los Angeles Angels, who enticed Albert with a 10 year, $250 million dollar contract, causing the Marlins to break pursuit and the Cardinals to tuck their chain in. St. Louis fans can’t be mad at the man who led the Cardinals to 2 World Series titles. Any and all anger should be directed at management, who should’ve gotten this deal done 2 years ago.

Meanwhile, the Angels are still moving full steam ahead by signing ex Rangers pitcher pitcher C.J. Wilson to a 5yr, $77million dollars deal. Serious business from the Angels, while the Dodgers sit in limbo
