LEAGUE POLICY: BRITISH FOOTBALL MEDIA TAKING HITS

.

The week’s big story out of British football is not about David Beckham, Wayne Rooney or any player, instead the media flood hitting the country’s national past time is focused on two top announcers. In what is becoming Britain’s version of the Marve Albert scandal, the boys at Sky Sports were caught with their mics on, discussing the poor quality of female refs and taking jabs at West Ham United’s vice-chairman Karren Brady, who wrote recently about the general sexism in English football. The guys basically gave her all the evidence she needed.

Ok, we kind of love this. They had us at “forgot their microphones were on.”While the guys talk could be chalked up to relatively harmless guy banter, the fallout from it could have far reaching changes in the general “Boys Club” mentality of English football. Plus, Brit English just makes us smile. Favorite quote, “Do me a favor, love.” Well, guys it looks like you just did her a favor check the clips here.
