MEDIA MOVEMENT: DEREK JETER’S CRIB IS TAKING MISSELS FROM YANKEES BRASS

Hank Steinbrenner had nothing but the best sideways talk for Derek Jeter and the big ass crib he built in the Tampa Bay area last season. According to the NY Post Steinbrenner  said

“Sometimes you celebrate too much, players concentrating on building mansions and not concentrating on winning,”

“I am not singling anybody out, but maybe riding the wave of ’09 was too much,” via NYP

Of course he wasn’t singling out anyone, just the cat building a house in Tampa by the name of Derek Jeter. We can’t exactly call it, but calling out the player that’s been one of the major reasons the Yanks won any world series titles while Hank’s been the owner is kind of out there. It’s not like the real reason the Yankees didn’t get to the World Series was because the Rangers pitching staff annihilated their line up.
