Quality Produce: RG3 Signs With Adidas

Robert Griffin III, is one of the drafts top 5 prospects no doubt. But after a series of public appearances following his Heisman Trophy win, he also emerged as possibly the most brand ready prospect to come out college football in sometime. On top of world class athletic ability, RG3 is witty, with a quirky sense of humor and will hold a bachelor’s, and master’s degree by the time he enters camp in the Summer. He’s the son of two Army officers, and it shows via his work ethic. In the eyes of sponsors he looks like a pot of gold, and if he plays up to par his earning potential will be through the roof.

Now training for the combine and his pro day, RG3 recently made a choice that all top flight prospects must, who will be his apparel sponsor. He had to choose between a full court press by Nike and what I’m sure was an equally good pitch by Adidas. He chose Adidas, check out his first commercial above.
