Suspect vs. Suspect: Suh’s Stomp Or Texas/Texas A&M Late Game Personal Foul Call

Friday, November 25, 2011

Thanksgiving Day football games featured an unusually heavy helping of shade. Ndamukong Suh stepped up his “dirtiest” player in the NFL image, by stomping on a Packers offensive lineman. His fine is sure to be through the roof, and if you add in the fact that he got ejected; he’ll likely get hit with a suspension via Roger Goodell.

Other questionable actions came in the form of a ridiculously shady personal foul call, very late in last night’s Texas/Texas A&M game. Talk about influencing the outcome of a game, this shoulder brush in the last minute of the fourth quarter gave Texas a first down. It also propelled the Longhorns closer to field goal range, all they needed to win the game.

So we have to ask which was more suspect, Suh’s stomp or the Texas/Texas A&M call that should find the NCAA re-evaluating contact rules?
