The Knicks found themselves in a precarious position last night in Toronto, with the game tied at 87, and only a few seconds left on the clock. No worries though, enter Jeremy Lin (again) to play the gift that keeps on giving. Lin took the ball down the court, backing all of the Knicks away so he could set up for a last second try at victory. Letting the clock tick down to barely 2 seconds before connecting on a 3 to keep the Knicks win streak going. It was another notch in the belt of this phenomenal story that hasn’t let up yet. That included Lin producing a 27 point, 11 assist effort on a night Amar’e Stoudemire re-entered the line up after a family tragedy.

Tonight the Knicks get the Kings at MSG, and also get Carmelo back from injury. Definitely a must watch to see how well Melo, Lin, and Stoudemire mesh.

Lerbon must’ve had a little leftover anger, a day after letting a court side heckler know what time it was. Because last night while racking up 35 points in a win over Milwaukee, he tried to murder the rim. Literally murder that ish, as you can see and hear in the video above. Check it out after the link

Russell Westbrook used the paint inside of the lane to take flight in last night’s game in Sacramento. Yes the Thunder walked away with a L, courtesy of the young Kings. But, this dunk sent the announcers over the edge on some watching the game in a neighborhood barbershop type ish. Check it out above, it was one of Westbrook’s 33 points on the night.

Nothing like having Will Farrell come through and lace up the intros for your team (and opponent), to boost sales. Mr. Farrell did the honors before the Hornets/Bulls tilt in New Orleans, dropping dimes on all starters who stepped on the court. He saved the best for Derrick Rose, and Carlos Boozer; one of which lives with his mother, while the others favorite movie is “The Notebook.” Check the vids above and below to see who, as well as the Hornets intro as well.

After Jeremy Lin’s massive 25 point outing against the Nets, everybody kind of wondered what the Harvard educated, Bay Area kid, who recently spent some time in the D-League would do next. Well, he didn’t just fade into obscurity, and 24 hours later he’s still being talked about. Because last night after Carmelo went down in the 1st, Lin went back into the game and pulled out 28 points like he was custom made for Mark D’Antoni’s offense. Is it possible the Knicks have found the point guard they’ve sorely needed on the bench? Can’t call it, but if Lin hits for double digits against the Wizards on Wednesday, most will be leaning on the other side of maybe.

Kobe Moves Into 5th

Meanwhile, on the west coast Kobe Bryant had a night to remember, and one he might rather forget in the same game. Kobe also put up 28 points in last night’s game against Philly, a feat which moved him past Shaq into 5th all time leading scorer in NBA history. On the other hand, the Lake Show took a 95-90 loss in their own house.

Lebron’s hairline draws major fire from Chuck, Shaq, Kenny, and the rest of the TNT crew on last night’s broadcast. While Tom Thibodeau gets his share of snaps for the skylight in the back of is do, Lebron’s magical, always in reverse headband takes most of the bullets. Check out the vid above

Boston Celtic Marquis Daniels wants a do-over after getting his shot, straight thrown by Dwyane Wade in last night’s prime time NBA match up on TNT. Check out video of the block after the link, the Heat went on to beat the Pierce-less Celtics 115-107.

With NBA season jumping off in a mere few days, (the king of all internet list compilers) Forbes.com took it upon themselves to hit you with their version of the “Most Disliked NBA Player.” It’s got all of the usual suspects, with NBA players ranging from most successful, to the more bizarre. But this year’s list was topped by a guy who’s been in the media for all of the wrong reasons, Kris Humphries. Last year at this time not many people knew who Humphries was, and the people that did wouldn’t have cared enough to nominate him for any “most” lists. It’s pretty believable though, last night Humphries was booed out of the gym in a preseason game against the Knicks. He was followed up by Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Tony Parker, and Metta World Peace to round out the top 5. Check the full list below:
