December 9, 2010- We knew this cat Luke Scott was somewhat out of pocket for insisting on packing heat at the clubhouse, you know just in case one of those other pesky millionaires on the Orioles wanted to jack him for his shines. But he took it to another level of dumb-assedry we he spoke to Yahoo blogger David Brown about his thoughts on President Obama, Ted Nugent, and hunting.

Scott’s quotes on Obama:

Obama … hmm … Obama does not represent America. Nor does he represent anything what our forefathers stood for. This country is basically built on an attitude. It’s a way of life. It’s not because you’re born here. It’s not that you’re supposed to take from those who have and give to those who haven’t. That kills a country. It killed Russia.

He represents, “Hey, everyone. Give me votes and I’ll give you stuff.” And there’s even people on TV who [are asked], “Hey, who you voting for?”

“I’m voting for Obama.”

“Why?”

“So I can get more free stuff.”

Scott’s quotes on Ted Nugent:

I’m a big fan of Ted Nugent because he’s a “keep it real” type of guy. He respects wildlife, he loves to hunt. I look at Ted Nugent and … he’s an American. He has the core beliefs of what it means to be an American in his heart. He lives by those beliefs and those principles. It’s the same beliefs that our forefathers, who fought for our country, have. I’d be real interested in meeting him one day.

And there you have it, Luke Scott comes through and gives you a textbook definition of why baseball is considered “America’s Past-time.” There’s almost too much in these comments to go in on, but it tells you a lot about a guy if they consider a hacked off, big sh%t talking clown like Ted Nugent a role model for what a good American is. Wow, and yes this dude is Way Suspect. via Yahoo
