A damn shame...............

It’s officially rivalry weekend, real and manufactured; for most of the college football world. Hit the link to see what you should be getting into besides Thanksgiving dinner, leftovers, and cheap ass wine from Trader Joe’s.

Thursday 11-24-11 (Thanksgiving)

(25) Texas @ Texas A&M - The fact that these two teams are ending a century long rivalry because a few butthurt senior citizens have ego’s larger than the whole state, should be a criminal offense. Now that we got that out there, we’ll pick the Aggies for the win. The Longhorns have zero people at the QB position that can win this game for them (at least from what we’ve seen), and the Aggies will be looking to put a signature ass whippin’ on the Horns before heading to the SEC.

Friday 11-25-11

(3) Arkansas @ (1) LSU - Arkansas has played the spoiler to LSU’s season many times, and this year’s game could be one of those days. The Bayou Bengals haven’t played a team with a high power offense since Oregon, and they shut them down. But the Razorbacks are built for SEC success. We’re actually gonna pick the upset, Razorbacks over the Tigers; because we’re rolling the dice like that.

(8) Houston @ Tulsa - Another game that could go either way, and really the Cougars first real challenge of the season. Other teams have scored plenty on Houston, and we think Tulsa will make this a high scoring shootout. This is our “can’t call it” game of the week.

Iowa @ (21) Nebraska -
The Cornhuskers have been on some Jekyll & Hyde type ish all year, better than ever one weekend, and straight terrible the next. If they lose to Iowa, they officially traded a spot as the 4th best team in the Big 12, to be the every other weekend, 5th best team in the Big 10 (+2). We think the Hawkeyes will win this somewhat manufactured rivalry

Saturday 11-26-11

(2) Alabama @ (24) Auburn - The good ole Iron Bowl, the greatest rivalry in the history of states that have no professional sports teams to call their own. Bama wins on the legs of Trent Richardson, and the back of a defense that holds the Tide down every weekend.

(5) Virginia Tech @ Virginia – The Hokies are overrated, the Hoos are underrated. Should make for a good match-up because like any true rivalry game it can go either way. We’re all about the underdog, so we’re picking Virginia in the upset

(22) Notre Dame @ (6) Stanford -
This is the last Saturday that Andrew Luck has a chance to win himself a Heisman Trophy. The only thing that stands in his way is the Irish, who somehow find themselves ranked in the Top 25. Luck should go h.a.m. on a suspect ND defensive backfield. If he doesn’t he definitely won’t win the Heisman, but the Cardinal still win the game at home.

Wyoming @ (7) Boise State - A few weeks ago we would of laughed this game off as a Boise massacre of the Cowboys, but now we’re not so sure. Wyoming isn’t completely awful, and the Broncs ego may have taken a hit with the loss to TCU. Boise still wins, but Wyoming will score a few touchdowns.

Iowa State @ (9) Oklahoma – Can Iowa State work that magic again this weekend against the Sooners? Nope, Baylor already took their shine last weekend. The Sooners will be stacked up and ready

Oregon St. @ (10) Oregon - This has been an out of pocket year for the Beavers, and its not gonna get any better for them in the state of Oregon’s version of the “Civil War.” Ducks are gonna make it rain touchdown bombs on that ass.

(17) Clemson @ (12) South Carolina - This is gonna be a good one, even though both teams are struggling as of late. Both have crazy talent on both sides of the ball, but we’re gonna pick Clemson for an upset. If they can get rolling early, it could be a long day for the Gamecocks, who’ve been up and down since Stephen Garcia was kicked off the time

(13) Georgia @ (23) Georgia Tech -
Paul Johnson’s triple option is a bitch to defend, but like a few teams above the Yellow Jackets have also struggled in the second have of the season. The Dawgs win with a stout defense that ranks second in the country against the run.

(14) Michigan St. @ Northwestern -
It’s entirely possible for the Wildcats to win this game, but they won’t. Sparty’s focused, and intent on keeping it real as they make their way to the inaugural Big 10 (+2) championship game.

Ohio State @ (15) Michigan - The Wolverines finally beat the Buckeyes this year, because of the crazyness surrounding tOSU. All year the Buckeyes have been dealing with suspension after suspension. And for the last 48hrs all they’ve been hearing about is Urban Meyer coing on their next coach. What do they have left to play for?………..

(19) Penn State @ (16) Wisconsin - A solid Big 10 (+2) match-up between a Badger squad that’s trying to show the world they still matter, and a Penn State squad that battling against something way deeper. Wiscy wins at home, and all the fans jump around (with their drunk ass)

Texas Tech @ (18) Baylor - Baylor’s had a lot of first this year, and a win over Tech will be another added to that list (since joining the Big 12). RGIII (who should be everyones Heisman front runner) can’t be stopped, like the Geto Boys after Bushwick Bill got shot.
